FRM Group Insurance and Financial Services, Christmas tree project benefits Monroe County Area Agency on Aging and The Gardens at Stroud (Stroudsburg) FRM Group Insurance and Financial Services’ mission is to be involved and give back to our community. As the holidays approach, it’s a perfect time to do just that.
Starting Tuesday, November 1, the public, clients, friends and family can support the Christmas tree project, Angels for Aging. The event is being coordinated by the FRM Group team at their office located at 1286 N. Ninth Street, Stroudsburg. “This is our eleventh year supporting the elderly in our communities. By engaging in this project, we are enhancing the quality of life of some Monroe County senior citizens age 60 and older. We are doing this by picking a name or two off the tree and fulfilling their wishes. We then wrap the gifts, attach their name, and place them under the tree.
Gifts will be picked up on Friday, December 2, 2022. It’s always a pleasure making a difference in the lives of others. I encourage anyone who is interested to come in and pick a name from our tree,” says Josephine A. Fontan, project coordinator and Account Manager, Commercial Lines. “Many of the seniors that we serve have outlived their families, and are also low income. The thoughtful gifts given by FRM Group Insurance and Financial Services are sometimes the only holiday cheer that these individuals receive during the holidays. It makes such a huge difference!” states Mary Claire Megargle, Administrator at the Monroe County Area Agency on Aging.
